Furry Friends Rescue joins Best Friends Strut Your Mutt! San Francisco

Furry Friends Rescue is honored and excited to join Best Friends Animal Society Strut Your Mutt! We’re raising much needed donations for our rescue dogs and cats. We have no office nor shelter building expenses. All volunteer Hero Foster Homes and Sanctuary Homes. Together, we need to end the killing of homeless dogs and cats at shelters. And we plan on having a lot of fun doing it! We will also have some Thank You gifts for our top fundraisers and Yappy hour goodies for dogs. Thanks Primal Pet Food! Register by July 31st to get the special early bird price of $15. Registration cost will be $20 after July 31st. Onsite pricing will be $25. FFR Registration fee will go directly to FFR.

All participants, walkers and volunteers need to register and pay registration fee for Entrance and Best Friends T-shirt. Registration fee for our team is donated to Furry Friends Rescue.

Walk Route

The walk course is about 1-2 miles that follows the paths in Chrissy Field. It is very flat, and mostly paved except for one very small stretch that is dirt/grass. A visual of the route will be provided soon.

Parking is available in the Little Marina Green/Yacht Club parking lot, the Chrissy Field parking lot and street parking along Baker Street.

Important Safety Notice

To help ensure the safety of the pets and people, all dogs must be kept on a maximum 6-foot, non retractable leash, and be kept close to their human. Participants are limited to bringing no more than 2 dogs. (We are very strict about this.) Dogs must be at least 4 months old and up-to-date on all vaccinations. For safety reasons, we do not allow dogs wearing pinch collars, choke collars or retractable leads to attend the event. Regular collars or martingale collars are OK.
