From our friends at Hendrick Boards:
Madison was found dumped in the streets. When she arrived at Hayward Shelter on March 9th, she was scared, emaciated, covered in fleas, had raging demodectic mange and raw skin from chemical burns on her back. Hayward Shelter took her to their vet and continued to care for her with medication baths, daily oral mange medication and fed her lots of food. She has gained some weight and started the healing process.
Our friends at Furry Friends Rescue rescued Madison shortly thereafter. Furry Friends Rescue continues to give Madison the medication and medicated baths she needs for her mange. She will also need x-rays of her rear legs/hips for joint injuries she probably sustained when she was dumped into the streets and will most likely require surgery.
Despite what she has suffered in her young life, Madison is very sweet, friendly and curious. She is great with other dogs and playful. She is getting lots of TLC and healthy food with supplements at her foster home…
In hopes of raising enough funds to continue the journey for Madison, we have partnered with Furry Friends Rescue to create the Animal Rights tee and hoodie dedicated to raising the funds necessary for her recovery. With every tee will will send a $10.00 donation to help Madison and Furry Friends Rescue.
Donations can also be made directly by going to their website, or sent to: Furry Friends Rescue, P.O. Box 7270, Fremont, CA 94537-7270.
