Happy New Year!

Hi Everyone!

As 2009 is getting closer, I just wanted to remind everyone to have a wonderful and safe New Year celebration!  2009 can be a great year for adopting a new pet, making a resolution to spend more time with your dog(s) or cat(s).  As you think about making resolutions for weight loss, think about us too!  Sometimes we can easily get overweight if we’re not getting enough exercise.  If you’re going to make a pact to exercise more, take us with you!  Dogs love daily walks and it helps strengthen the bonds between us and our owners!

Also, make sure you check over the holiday tips and prepare us for the New Year celebrations!  You wouldn’t want to start the new year looking for a lost pet who might have slipped out the door.  Especially with fireworks going off and lots of strange noises, we can get scared!

Everyone at Furry Friends Rescue hopes you and your loved ones all have a safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It’s been a great year for all the animals we’ve rescued and those that have been adopted and we’re looking forward to another great year in 2009.  You can still support us by volunteering or sending in donations.  Please check out our donation page for more details:

Thank you and Happy New Year!
